I gave up the AGS 30 and start with my new project: the EFV
I think that it is really necessary to replace the lav 25 from maps like:
Jabal Al-Burj;Muttrah City;and so on

So here are some pictures from my current model, hope u enjoy

Matze, you have no idea how close I am to spasming out sheer joy (sorry people with epilepsy, no offense meant). EFV is so great. I hope this works out, the model's looking good.

If you fell apart on the AGS are you sure this kind of project is a good idea now?

is the the marine AAV(amphibious assault Vehicle?

Well the AAV is the current issue, EFVs are scheduled to start replacing AAVs in 2010 (Don't quote me on that, but I'm pretty sure).

More likely around 2015 for initial operating capability. The LAV-25 is supposed to stay in service until well after that. EFV is only one of the scheduled replacements for the AAV7; they recently reduced the amount they intend to purchase and will be purchasing an amphibious, wheeled APC, designated Marine Personnel Carrier, for the remainder.

one question:
which model is visible to the passengers, 1st or 3rd person?

i am also jumping for joy at the creation of this model, you dont know how badly ive screamed when maps like barracuda have no proper landing craft for the marines. and since this whole game/mod is set in the near future, the EFV shouldnt have any problem fitting in. the AIX mod wont let PR borrow their AAV7 model {which is superb btw} so really this is the next best thing. i hope you can complete it.

barracuda won't get it. dev's have made that clear. it's all about chopper insertions and coordination

You gave up on a gun, because it was to difficult, and start making a complicated vehicle instead?
Sure you don't want to try something simpler and work your way up?

i didnt gave up the ags 30 because it was too difficult. i gave it up because i dont like the idea of an auto granade lancher in pr now.
maybe i will finish it, maybe not..

since when does AIX have a AAV7 ? you must confuse it with PoE, they are the only bf2 mod with a a AAV7

does anybodey know a tut how to model tank wheels for bf2?

Yeah, wheels are weird as far as I'm concerned. BTW, PoE's AAV is a sexy beast, with that passenger cabin, oh yeah.

your right i did confuse it with POE. my bad. as far as barracuda i know its not gonna get any kind of land vehicles for the USMC but in the future when someone wants to make an amphibious landing map, they may not have to be stuck with the LAV which isnt used for beach landings, they may have an awesome EFV to use.

hope it has a great speed like IRL
