Hello, I just reinstalled bf2, expansions, etc after not playing for over 3 years. Just got a new computer and am ready for action. I downloaded the PR mod, installed fine, ran it and didn't see any server lists or players. What exactly do I have to do to play the mod and connect with other players?

you need to set you filters on "Current mod" or something or maybe you miss the "levels" install

Did you click join internet?

Did you click update list?

Hit "apply filters" and that will trigger the initial refresh. Then use "update list" to refresh.

also make sure you downloaded levels

OK...dlded the levels. I laucnhed PR and no servers were found, applied filters, etc. Then I launched regular bf2, did the same and still nothing. Am I missing something? Do I need to connect to a private ip? Please help.

screen shot of what? The game loads and all i get are no servers when I apply the filters when i launch the pr icon or the bf2 icon. It will load all the regular servers in bf2, but none of the pr maps, etc. Do i need to launch the pr mod from a different location?

when setting your filters make sure 'ranked' is unchecked.

I still have problems with (apparently) game spy not showing me any servers. Just go to game-monitor.com and find a server you like and join with the ip address.

Yeah I had it earlier, but it sorted itself.

ahhh ive had ranked checked....lets c if that works...

Here is what the guide says to have checked filter-wise in order to see the servers:

1.Same Version Only
2.Same Mod
3.Punkbuster
4.Small Maps
5.Medium Maps
6.Large Maps

Don't forget to read your manual! I can't believe you even started PR before reading your manual. (Actually I can, too many people do it)
Anyway, here's what my filters look like. This way you'll see pretty much any server that is playing PR 0.8.
