Ins/Militia C4/Stickybombs

I remember a while back wondering if the C4 model was ever going to be replaced (I've only ever seen it in a little brick), and if the militia engineer C4 was ever going to become something else. I let it drop a while because other stuff was coming up more important, but now that most of the game is set in place, I thought I'd bring this to the forum.

I know the militia can get explosives easily enough, as can the insurgents (hell, from what the news tells us, you can make them in your own home D :) , but I think it would be nice if the insurgents got themselves some sort of sticky bomb at their disposal. With the new kit limiting it would be handy to take on British armor units when the guns are overrun, and increase dependence on infantry sweeps to prevent the ambush. This would be a hand-held device shaped like anything that makes sense, with a short throw distance. Power wise it would be under that of C4, but enough to seriously damage an APC. This would also be a static explosive for the militia to lay ambush with something other than landmines (which are easy to see and do balls all against infantry).

The kit getting this would be the militant with SKS (in exchange for his ammo bag), OR the ressurrected sapper kit, which would take back his traditional mines + explosives layout, armed with the PPSh (yes, two kits getting it), with the two militants kept as is (and the scout losing his mine). I love the Bizon, but hate the new sights on it, and ask that the "Special forces" kit be dropped, with the Bizon instead being issued to militia crewmen.

Purpose of this is to bring additional ambush ability to the militia faction, as well as a general purpose explosive at the squad level. The militia should be a "playground" faction for design, so I see no reason not to include this.

Great idea would be nice to see the militia have something like this that would allow them a completely different play style from all the other factions.

You need a fair amount of money to buy some the vital supplies. Nitric acid is pretty pricey for that reason. Militia could get it easily though.
This could be made into something like a WWII stiky bomb and Militia could stick it on the treads on a disable and cause it to roll to a stop.

Is it possible to code an immobilized damage result every time though?

Yeah, I don't know about that, but the weapon could be formatted so it would be guaranteed to immobilize a vehicle when the charge is on the tires/tread. I'll try to look into what exactly can immobilize a vehicle in PR.

It's a random chance by % HP, though Nedlands did have an interesting suggestion he sent me a while back.

I'm just saying it's an explosive is all.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's random. I can't find anything in the code.
