Medic - CPR

With the current CPR... it is just to unglitch them from the ground...
I was wondering if it would be possible to - along with unglitching them - revive crit troops after an excessive number of compressions (10-20 mabey)
This would be handy for medics who are in the thick of things and run out of adrenaline... (eg, one point where i was reviving my squad 4+ times due to long-range tank attacks lol)
it would allow medics to always revive people, but would also be risky as the medic would have to stay at the crit soldiers body for the time it takes to do the compressions.

Welcome to the forums
I would say no, keep ur ammo up instead, as CPR IRL is more about just keeping som1 alive until/while drug interventions and other equipment/persons with better training can be brought to bear. (apart from maybe drowning, but I've no experience with drown victims)
But I actually like the idea of slowing the medic down a little while getting the person up, I want less running in to the street (of which I'm personally guilty) something like, you can only use CPR/ epipen while crouched would be great.
the suggestion that always interested me was if you could get the Critically injured counter to increase per compression, so normal soldiers could be given the CPR 'weapon' and keep their buddies alive until the medic can get to them, but I can't remember the response to that...probably hardcoded.

Simple way to re-set the revive timer. Have it revive with 1 HP, Bleed out kills instantly. You get to see your buddy go 'BLARGH!' over and over again.
Though it seems a tad much and to easy to glitch it. Have your guys throw like 4 or 5 field dressings then CPR the guy and hope he picks them up.
Plus with some servers it would be considered a suicide I assume and you'd keep getting negative points and kicked from said server.

You use rescue breathing along with CPR to rescue drown victims.

rescue breaths are part and parcel of CPR procedure in Britain (although if I'm not mistaken the procedure is to compress first then do rescue breaths with drown victims), is it different in the US? (I'm hearing rumblings that CPR procedure is going to change in Britain to favour chest compressions over rescue breaths, and that this originated from research in the US)
I was trying to say that with som1 who is not breathing, due to a heart attack is receiving CPR to try and keep him/her alive, whereas I've heard that CPR can basically get a drown victim breathing and conscious if they weren't without oxygen for too long. but we're going WAY off topic there.

I beleive the idea behind CPR is two breaths put oxygen into the lungs, 15 (or is it 30?) compressions on the ribs to compress the heart which helps circulate blood.
Id like to say yes but whats CPR going to do to a die with a big whole in his chest (though the same can be said about an allergic reaction reverser!!!)

2 breaths to 30 compressions in Britain, it was 15 a few years ago I think
ahah! deltafart you have pointed out the problem with CPR in a battlezone!
CPR is great for the average population for heart attacks etc, but when fit and healthy men and women get holes put in them CPR doesnt help. But to animate a tourniquet, IV, etc ingame is too hard

BUT ALL THAT KINDA STUFF HAS BEEN DISCUSSED IN THE RELEVANT THREADS< I@M SORRY I MADE A PASSING REMARK ABOUT DROWN VICTIMS< LETS GET BACK ON TOPIC

It IS a bit unrealistic but still... its there, so we use it
but could they (PR Team) make it so that 20+ compresstions revives someone? its soo annoying runing out of epipien with the nearest ammo 2km away and your squad yelling at you to revive them

Yes this has been discussed, we know its unrealistic, but its alot better than having guys carry shock paddels about with them, hence why its there.
At least it requires that little bit more effort to get a guy up and running again:
CPR (varies depending on how long the person has been 'critical'.
'Injection', again i dont know what it is, afaik it might be an adrenalin shot.
Healing the person up with bandages/medic bag.
Rather than:
charge- BZZZT- your good to go

Couldnt you just get the game to draw another bar of some sorts and every compression refills it a bit and upon bar filling up, the soldier is revived like normal (low health) OR if possible, increase the down time...
