Hello everyone!

I am Chris from FEAR Productions.
Maybe some of you have already seen one of our movies.

Currently we are working on a new Movie where we also use PR for.
Because we want to give proper credits to the mods we used and because images are looking much better then plain text, i was wondering if we could get a "high res" (at least 500 pixel high) version of the "PR DogTags Logo" ?

Thanks for the link, but i allready read this thread and searched your homepage gallery/media before i posted here.

The PR logo will be part of an logo animation which showcases all mods we used, so this mod "intro" video you refer to is not useful.

Ofc I could simply cut it out of the header.
But because we produce all our videos in HD (720p / 1280x720/24fps), this would be too small and look "bad" right next to the other high-res logos of the other mods we used.

I would simply need a png (at least 500pixel high) of the PR-dogtags without background.
Would be great if you could provide me with that.

I believe (not 100% sure) that the Project Reality logo is copyrighted and the Devs don't give it out to anyone unless they are [R-***].

funny is that i received "high res" logos from 4 other mod teams without any issues.
they were even happy that i credit them that way....

so i will just use plain text to credit "ProjectReality" then.
it will look odd right next to the other high res logos, but thats not realy my problem then.

Surely the proper way to go about this would have been to ask for permissions before and not after you'd filmed?

What if your film portrays or contains themes that the Dev's don't want PR to be associated with for instance?

Your not understanding me, the logo has been properly copyrighted and trademarked or whatever the term is. I remember a Dev saying something about it ages ago when some people were using the logo in their signatures.

Just PM one of the devs that way you get a quicker answer and a proper one.

The rule itself is that you are not allowed to use the PR dogtags in your signature unless you meet certain conditions. However, I don't think the devs will have any trouble with you using the logo, as long as you check with one of them. So yes, pm'ing a dev is probably the way to go.

Hey infinityloop, I remember watching your chinese fearless movie a while about when it was released, pretty good, thou the Americans with a German accent cracked me up abit hehe.

thats one of the few things which bug me as well.
but for some reason i did not get any better voice recordings...

but with FEARless i made the misstake to first shoot and edit the movie, and then look for voice actors.
so time was a problem.

this time i will start searching for voice actors first.
