I was curious if the devs would be willing to implement rpg rail protection around the strykers. You can see in any iraq photo with a stryker in it that they have railings all around the front and side to protect from RPG attacks. Also could they add a version with an 150mm smooth bore cannon?

Does the striker even COME with 150mm cannon? The damn thing would tip over wouldn't it?

There's a Stryker variant called the MGS (Mobile Gun System), which has a 105mm gun mounted. Probably a typo, there.

The MGS is still in the testing stage. It is currently going through Winter Training in Alaska and is not really set of a release date to Army. The rails have been talked about many times before. The development team does have a Stryker crewman on the team.([R-CON]MikeAP)They may be added later.

The thing doesnt need RPG rails...It needs somthing to stand up to other APC's besides that freaking .50 call, on qwia the US Army strykers are no match for the PLA APC's

Can we mount the US's equivalent of the Trophy system on all armored vehicles instead of the cage?

They aren't really supposed to be, if I understood correctly...

Well, all variants would be neat but I personally think that the 40mm AGL is priority one of the variants...

Yes ATGM stryyker is needed and MK.19 is also neede, the MK.19 would not make the stryyker a spam fest it would be the same as a normal APC main gun except it would have less range less accuracy and the APC would be lacking a Coaxal MG

I did make a thread myself about the M1128 MGS, but it seems to have vanished entirely...

Anyway, having played Qwai, the TOW hummers MORE than make up for the Stryker's inferiority against armour. Will be interesting to see how it plays out though once they're nerfed in .85 (They will be, you know it)
