From what i understand the humvee in the game now is an up-armored version with bullet proof windows and what not. But there is no protection for the gunner. He's all wide open ready to be shot.

Is there any way we could add on the protection for the gunner? If it's a balance issue maybe we could make it an insurgency version of the humvee.

There is a up-armored humvee in the works. We'll have to see what comes with that.

The biggest issues now is this:
If we give the gunner protection or just put in a CROWS, noone else has a vehicle like it so you would have to do asymetrical balancing.
There is a real vodnik being done for the mec and a VN3 for the PLA

As Waldo said, an up-armored humvee is in the works. Has been for quite some time now, oddly enough.
