I think that the eastern chopper for its size should be able to carry more than 6 people, its at least twice as big as the BH and could eat 3 minibirds for brakefast, i think it should be able to deploy at least 2 squads, not to mention it should have more armor than a BH since it moves so slow im guessing its heavier, but why doesnt it have more armor/life than a BH.

Definatly, who ever decided that the chopper should only have 1 pilot 2 crew cheifs and 3 passengers must of been druged up lol.

Same with the apc only carrying 5 people in total???

The LAV-25 can realistically carry four soldiers (six soldiers maximum), but I'm sure the BTR-90 can carry more. The AAV can carry an entire marine rifle squad, if not more

I agree that the MEC and Chin choppers can fit more people in. Look inside the Chin Chopper and then the MEC one and see you could fit at least another five in the Chin one and at least four in the MEC one.

LOL well put happy. I believe that the current load out is fine unless you want to add 1 more seat so it can fit one pilot and a whole squad.

choppers need at least 9. jeeps need to be completely removed for the game (only good for lonewolfs and snipers) and hmmvvs(sp?) need to carry 6 as to not split up a squad.

Remove the jeeps? come on, they are not just used for lonewolfs and snipers, i have seen plenty of times when they have been used for their true purpose, as a Fast Aattack Vehicle

Choppers should just be able to carry a crew and a full squad, its already 32players V 32players at the max right now, wouldnt want your entire team in a single vehicle, imagine if I was an enemy flying a plane at the time

I'm not sure it's still interesting to anyone, but ... I've got some experience in flying aboard russian helicopters.

MEC army's Mi-17 is a modification of Mi-8. The difference is in engines, instruments, rotor blades, but the interior is the same.

I made a lot of skydives from different Mi-8s. Actually it's my favorite aricraft for skydiving purpose. Mi-8 is very comfortable and powerful. One of choppers I jumped from, even had two machinegun's mountpoints and flare launchers .

Well, Mi-8 can lift up to 28-30 skydivers. With maximum load, people are crowded inside as herrings in a barrel. It means you have to be very careful with your movements, not to squeese one of pretty li'l flychicks or (OMG!) not to open someone's canopy container. In average, usual load is 22-25 skydivers.

I believe it's not too clever to put inside a Mi-8 more than 15 soldiers with full equipment and ammunition. If you want them to fire from inside the craft, they need some space for movements. Typical crew consists of three men: two pilots and one mechanic. So, in total we've got 18 men. IMHO it's the reasonable limit for the Mi-8 helicopter.
