Picking up individual weapons

I do not know if this is possible, but is it possible to make this more like americas army, so you could pick up a dead guys weapon without dropping all of your own gear? Is it possible to pick up things one at a time?

Also, i do not think this is possible at all, but is there anyway to make it so your can throw back, or kick away a grenade?

For the moment i cant tell you, we dont know what the capacities of the bf2 engine are.

another idea, again no idea if it is possible. i got the idea after analysing red faction. i dont know how this would work for tanks, but for bombs, arty and rockets, is this possible:

along with all the explosion grapchics and such, and invisible sphere spawns. inside this invisible shpere, all material dissapeers, making a hole in a wall if the sphere spawns on a wall.

is this "negative geometry" even close to possible in the bfv engine?

was already possible in bf1942 engine only problem is the lag, it causes also a lot of problems in online game, but some maps will be based on this idea (like destroying a bridge)

having absolutely no experience as a modder, what would be the least laggy and somewhat good looking way to have every thing be destuctible, and the destructibliltiy be dependent on what hit it, what angle it hit it from and where it hit it.

the bridge video for bf2 shows that the bridge has two parts that can explode, when areas near then take damage.

i am wondering if you could have a hole in a wall after a tank shot, exactly where the tank shell hit it, and if a hole can be blown in a wall according to bwhere the bomb hit it.

In BF2, as far as anybody knows, only certain objects will be completely destructible, in that you will be able to blast chunks off of them, with realistic collapsing and damage effects throughout the entire structure of the object. Less important objects, like barrels, will be destroyable in the sense that they will explode and cease to exist afterwards, like a vehicle. Other objects will be completely indestructible, however. Because there would be massive overhead requirements to take into account the physics and properties, as well as damage data for all of the individual objects that make up a whole, it's difficult to have many objects which are destroyable. We're going to push the limit, though, and make sure that we can have lots of fun stuff to blow up.

Like i said this causes lag, (or they have to change the network code) They have to send everyhole made to the server that has to give that information to every player.
