since it's real life counterpart is used as a fixed wing aircraft for fast and heavy ground attacks, a turnable turret shouldn't be used in the pr version for balance and gameplay reasons. it should be like an agile ground attack jet with transport capabilities.
imagine it over the mountains and green valleys on feyzabad, dodging rpg fire and clearing areas for infantry! GIVE IT TO ME. DO IT! DO IT! DO IT!
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no............................
The Hind should be put in true to it's real life counterpart. There are reasons why Hinds are not the world's best attack chopper. Hinds are just APCs with wings... Compared to other attack helos, they are slow and vulnerable.
Secondly, dropping off troops is pretty much the opposite of what you want to do to survive and give air support.
Thirdly, it doesn't fire explosve shells out of the nose gun, except when it's fixed as mentioned above, fourthly it's missiles don't work terribly well (and so pretty much always get fired in twos), fifthly, compared to other attack heloes, it's easy to hit with heat seeking missiles (model this by giving it less flares)...
Balance the Hind properly...
