half scoping in.

I was wondering if its possible/a good idea to make LATs, scoped rifles, and maybe some other things I cant think of right now have two zoom levels. the second one would be the standard zoom level and everything but the first would be where you just kinda line up the top of the scope or LAT sights instead of just holding the whole thing properly.

That way scoped rifles can have some better cqc abilities and you can use the fast zoom level on the LAT for emergency's so you aren't forced to just fire it off blindly you just kind of bring it halfway up to get a better idea what your aiming it at (this is actually what gave me the idea) but for balance reasons if you were holding it like this it would probably need like 2-3x the minimum deviation that if you scoped it fully.

give it about the same amount of time to scope in on the first level of zoom as iron sights (on the rifles at least) and then shorted time it takes for the second level of zoom so you aren't handicapped more than usual by this system. (I kinda remember something about only being able to use one amount of time to switch between zoom levels though so maybe just half and half?) any thoughts?

Limitations include and are not limited to - Not being able to differenciate zoom delays between levels, different lod meshes and animations.

aka too much work, if you want CQB go medic, engy or riflemen unzoomed, or just be a bit quicker at seeing someone.

Half-scoping/shouldering/low-ready/etc has come up before and has not been implimented for the reasons outlined above.

Please search and read the "Already Suggested Suggestions" thread thoroughly before making a "new" suggestion.
