Is there any reason in particular when you try to us a hook while in a transport heilo it just disappears? It would be nice if we could get it to throw be thrown from the chopper. It wouldn't be fast ropes but it could be a useful insersion tool on maps like Muttrah

Most likely just a network error. The two systems don't work very well together. But we have seen it happen, grappling off of a heli.

In defense of CodeRedFox's statement, I present this video from YOUTUBE for the courts viewing and deliberation ;)

It is simply faster to land or hover to a safe drop height and let your passengers out, no doubt about that..

So can we finally saw....fastroping does exist. You just need practices and support to get it to work. :-D

Anytime a new fastroping thread comes up just post "Already in game, you just need more practice"

That would be AL BARASH training just behind the MERLIN spawns(.75 training not the current .8 one, as you can tell with the LB's and other aircraft not found on the map.)

:/ well I guess that works. it would help insert troops on hills and what (places where even newbs wouldn't risk landing do to the uneven terrain) not if they could use the grapple from the side of little bird or something but I am glad to see it was done.
