Hello.

I have finally bought my copy of BF2 and I am going to install it soon - then there is just a few steps between me and my first Project Reality Experience..

However, there is one thing bothering me: Punkbuster. Not that I read about numerous problems with that pesky program, I simply do not like having a thing like that one my hard drive.

This is how I come to ask myself: Are there any good PR servers running without Punkbuster?

No.

PR server rules include mandatory Punkbuster (its a little more complicated then that). But its the only system we have and players and server have to deal with it. May not be fair or hell working sometimes but it apart of PR for the time.

It not only prevents most hacks (and yes hacking is wide spread) but PR has its own features that can be removed if PB isnt running.
