This happened on Muttrah at the end of a game (Which is good). What happened is that a Huey pilot landed on top of those large silos at around D2 and the Huey started getting shot up badly by the enemy. The pilot got out when it caught fire and I tried to stay to the edge of the silo so when it blew up I got killed and I think I fell off the silo but when I checked the map there was no option to give up. The US team only had about 15 tickets left so I remained dead for the remainder of the round.

Thats because you died, hence no give up. Why you couldn't respawn might be because players where on the spawn points. Blocking you ability to spawn. At least thats how it sounds.

or you had Squad Leader kit selected giving you 5000 seconds till respawn.
if it is like what Codred said, all you gotta do is select a spawn point and hammer enter over and over untill you spawn.

I selected an optical rifleman kit and I was dead for two minutes. I tried clicking done a few times but I didn't respawn.

Ohh, i hate this bug. This happend to me too, and on Muttrah. Well i got shot and there was no black screen (telling me im dead)or bloddy messed up screen (telling me im woundead), but a clear screen(like the one in BF2) and like Zepp said, "I tried clicking done a few times but I didn't respawn". So i had to wait for 2 min and then i spawned. I have no clue why this happens...

Yep, theres a few bugs where the blackscreen of death isn't there and it gives me a vbf2 kill screen , its useful at times to see where the enemy is lol
