You know how a ton of people say that the helicopters aren't realistic when it comes to crashing so I was wandering if it was possible to make the helicopter do all sorts of things when it is hit like when it is shot in the tail rotor by say an rpg or a certain number of small arms hits how bout it spin all the way to the ground but when it hits the ground don't make it explode but make it not drive able. But after a certain time and no one has touched it, it explodes and respawns. I know that I wrote that horribly so if you don't understand please ask me. Thanks

That's already in place, unfortunately the BF2 engine doesn't support proper hit detection for those kinds of effects for vehicles. The current system we're using is once a vehicle gets down to a certain health, it has a percentage chance of getting one of those status effects. For Helos it's a chance of engine failure, the thing begins to spin out of control or just falls to the ground, but you can't make it happen every time or only when you hit the right spot.
Resuggestion.

Start a local game up and crash the tail into something, you will spin out of control. On dedicated servers, however it dose not work.

1 - What about the super duper eurocopter NH - 90 ...
Discovery advertise it frequently like "the ultimate maneveaurable heli"
2 - Also on Discovery there are few doc's, that is said, Blackhawk fall down and get trashed, smashed, just full wreck ...
.. but the pilot and soldiers survive with minor injures ...
Is that put in the mod ..?

i saw choppers tailspining in game , not often , but it happens. U can even land it and run away before it explodes.

choppers wont tail spin online, its impossible. things on LAN ect are different.
for e.g the weapons at mosque on basrah on LAN are laying down on the stand, online they stick up and look ghey. on LAN your chopper spins out, online it dose not though you can lose rudder control.

I think it has been coded, but as gazz said, for some reason online is different...

I think there is a problem/short comming with the network code; the same problem that doesnt allow us to use cluster munitions in game.
