Hi guys just a little question.

Do we have any info on the next patch please.
In RIP we have had quite a few players stop playing. Mainly due to the weapon deviation. Im not going to start a debate about it as you guys have put a hell of a lot of time and effort into making PR what it is today and we all acknowledge that.
The general thoughts are that the .75 weapon deviation was much better.
Im not sure if this can be rectified, but my opinion is that from having 50+ members playing PR in our clan and now only a handfull says it all.
There was a time that we had to make room for our own guys on our server, now looking at the server list out of 150+ servers only half a dozen seem to be full.
Im not sure how many other clans are feeling the crunch too.
In RIP it took us about a year to get where we were, alot of hard work and recruitng. The hardcore element still love PR and myself included will stick with it. Would just like to know if and when a new patch will be released soon. Im loving the look of the new maps (great work) and cant wait to be let loose on them...lol.

Apparently the stats show that PR is more popular than ever, so there obviously isn't a problem I think the usual answer to threads like this is that, PR just isn't for your clan mates, so they should find another game

Also I wouldnt be suprised if you got flamed for your comments - anyone noticed how the forum seems much quieter nowadays?

Well as others have said but you could of looked here. The PR devs do now release because of patches for BF2 or any other reasons, they wait till they have a product there happy with then they release it. Till then we all have to wait.

As the Devs have pointed out before, any changes to the game usually go through two releases before revision and alteration. Things have to be tried and tested in game before becoming a permanent part of the game. If people don't hang around to see the changes and help by making suggestions or contributing to the game, too bad for them.

Yeah, I've only noticed 1 fastropes suggestion this week.

They are only cause all teh new ones ran away due to a massive amount of flaming loaded onto them.

v0.85 will only have small changes, They do expect to release some maps I think and that will be a large part of the patch. The Devs might not even release a patch, they might just release 0.9. They only started patching main releases in 0.6.

Deviation is gonna be tweaked for the next release, although I don't really see your point with the popularity thing, sure PRs not as busy as when the new release came out, but that's happened pretty much every time ones come out. From what I remember PR is being played more then .75 at the moment, there was about 4-5 well populated servers most of the time once .75 had settled down, but there's about 7-8 now .8 has.

I think the DEVs know there are a few things up with values that can be changed easily - easy in comparison to making a new map or something like that - things such as deviation and draw times etc etc. The DEVs know these are pissing people off a bit, and I imagine they will be fixed due to this, probably with some stuff that didn't quite make .8.

OK, serious - I want to bring back the most beautifull PR map, Raid on Mosque, on another game mode ..

but I think the new SKS stuff hasn't been added on there yet

next "patch" is being worked on daily... dont have an ETA right now... it will have both gameplay and content updates as always... i think in both areas it will be prety substantial. hopefully adding some new gameplay elements, as well as new factions and new places to fight.

So we can expect the IDF in 0.85?

I did read your question - you asked about the next patch, and mentioned that clan mates had stopped playing due to recent changes to PR. Thought that was what you were saying - sorry if I misunderstood.

If you spend much time on the forum you will know that the standard answers to these comments are wait and see about the patch - and if your clan mates dont like PR anymore, then they can go play another game, as hundreds of new players have started playing to replace them.
