Could a scale be added to each and every map, like maybe a bar in a part of the map that is out of bounds stretching over 3 keypads with a number below it that tells you how many meters 3 kpads are on that map ?

Why not just give all binoculars rang-finder capabilities?

To be honest, I never fully understood why only GLTD's have a range finder on them. It shouldn't be that expensive (except for the insurgents, militia should be fine) to get normal binoculars with range finders. And since this feature is already in use for GLTD's, coding this in shouldn't be a problem either.

I don't mean make every set have laser designator capabilities, just the range finder aspect.
