Vehicle Ammo Crate

No, it's not just a crate that sits there that tanks can load up from, what I suggest is a crate with the potential to reload.
The Vehicle Ammo Crate would only be dropped by Super Heavy Choppers (IE Chinook and equivalents) and Engineer Vehicles. This crate would have the capability to reload five rounds of ammunition for tank main guns, 20-30 rounds for an IFV, or a complete set of reloads for vehicle mounted machine guns. In order to reload from the crate, the vehicle would need to be within 5 meters and an engineer would need to "wrench" the crate. Doing so would cause the crate to reload the vehicle, and simulate an armor crew reloading the shells in the magazine, or grabbing the boxes of ammo for the machine guns.
A new "weapon" for the armor crews would be required, some kind of hands that would allow the reload so that tanks would not be reliant on engineers for this.
This grants the ability for factions to rearm in the field again, something that is sorely needed, especially for the lighter vehicles, without returning to vanilla style gameplay. In addition, it takes advantage of new assets that are being used.
Possible problems with the system are the loading itself, it may not be codeable to have it so a wrench causes something to reload, and whether or not it is possible to mag link helicopter crates so that 2 normal crates, is 1 vehicle ammo crate.
