[?] Skirmish, AAS16?

What is the difference between skirmish and AAS16? They appear do be the same, or am I not getting it?

skirmish = no vehicles on a small of the map
aas 16p = no heavy vehicles only jeeps, trucks and the ability to put down assets unlike in skirmish, also the same map size as 32p and 64p
that pretty much sums it up.

If a map is already without heavy vehicles on full 64 then I can skip the AAS16 and add a skirmish instead?

Does skirmish use command posts? I was looking at mestia skirmish mode. i could not find any. however I was able to request any kit.

Ok after poking around the GPO for mestia, it appears that there are no CPs on skirmish maps.

No. Skirmish is intended for 6v6 Clan matches.

what about the kit requesting? is it related to the flag radius?
