How to place an independent static usable MG on the map that is not related to any CP? I only was able to place mgs that are spawned if they are owned by a cp. Also is there any issue with that because I do not want things I have placed to appear on the "do-not-place-this" list.

they have to be spawned in via a CP, use one of your main bases and dont teamlock them.
only lock them if you want them to be faction limited.
this is the only way afaik.

I did teamlock the mainbases Mg. Does make sense. Because some official maps do this too. (the AA gun on mestia)

locking MGs can cause server crashes as they are not coded to be locked.
