I have a question about overgrowth shadows. When I paint the shadows it changes the tree lightness. However does this also affect any dynamic pbjects like players or vehicles? Or are they only shadowed by the lightmap?

The overgrowth shadow appears to tint the trees in a grayscale. I am just wondering if it also affect things below it.

The overgrowthshadowmap affects overgrowth only, but that includes overgrowth and 'static' overgrowth.
Dynamic objects can have their lighting (brightness/color) influenced by the groundhemi file.
They were also suppose to have their shadows/shadows cast influenced by the 2 simpleshadowmaps, but I heard DICE might have forgone that as it caused to many problem???

I wish to god you would start searching for your questions!
Your complaint is not valid because:
I already know what it does on trees. I asked if it ALSO AFFECTS OTHER OBJECTS. And that is not written in the tutorial. So can we calm down a bit on that reflex of accusing me every time that I ask "unallowed" questions?

no it dose not... it states on that tut it is only for making overgrowth darker, it even says it in the title: Making overgrowth darker; "Overgrowth Shadow Map."

Still I was concerned about side effects.
