Insurgent Officer

I want to report a Bug/Exploit.

I have noticed the great use of grenadiers in PR, and escpecially for the Insurgents. And as insurgents the only kit with the grenadier is the Officer, now! If i spawn in as an officer, and there are 5 other people in my squad, that are dead, i just leave and rejoin, and whoever is squadleader spawns and repeats what i did, until we are all Officers with grenadiers.

This is an exploit which can creat massive grenadier spamming. Perhaps it is a new gameplay feature, to have the "US Army" watch out for grenadier strikes instead of actuall contacts, but nonetheless, i just felt like posting it.

So to fix it, maybe allow someone to only join a squad every 30 second? Some server kick you after 30 seconds without a squad.

Anyway i just wanted to report that.

I think the fix for this is in place, every time an insurgent officer is killed, the other team gets 7 intelligence points, insted of just 1 from a normal insurgent. So if everyone in the squad grabs an officer kit you'll be revealing your caches almost 7 times faster then normal.

Also can you not become commander and achieve the same result? Without even needing a squad.

Yup, some people die ... apply as a commader, get a insurgent officer kit, spawn near the CP and then they resign again. When they die next time they repeat this.

Oh ok... Yeah i guess your right, so its ok if people do it? or does it ruin the game?

Sure it's an exploit. But not an hugely effective one.

Those blue squares might be purple had they not used this tactic. So i don't see how this is an exploit or bug. In reality an insurgent force would spend large amounts of resources training cell leaders. And they would go out and lead the cells of recruits. But, if they wanted to spend lots of resources to create a cell of all leaders. That's fine. Sure, it'll be a force to be reckoned with. But, the loss of that cell would dramatically hurt the overall insurgency. As it does in the game.

^^Blue dots are the unrevialed cashes AFAIK.

The purple defence markers on the map is unrevealed cashes.

So in fact this tactic can be used, but is more a suicide method than a way of winning. hehe. I just like grenadearing people specially in numbers, alot of booom booom :D

Well i guess i wont use that tactic ingame.
