For being an uber Rambo lone wolf? I don't see SF kits being in PR for much longer, although they have some use.

I've mostly seen them used as a 'spotter' kit, paired up with a sniper or as an ambush kit, placing C4. The SLAMs come in handy from time to time too...

Special forces kits are very useful in 2-3 man squads. The demolitions they have make them great for sneaking around behind enemy lines and blowing assets up.

I also find their silenced pistol to be useful in sneaking up on enemy fortifications in urban maps, less in jungle/desert.

to me one of the best uses for the spec ops kit is in close quarters fighting. the full auto m4 with red dot sight makes quick work of anyone you bump into inside a building. and slams are great for taking out light vehicles BUT NOT BY BASERAPING

Yep, I'll grab a spec ops kit on Muttrah or another urban map, especially when we are asset hunting. The auto M4 is really useful for clearing houses :p

the best use is on Qwai for the chinese blowing the bridges to prevent the tow hummers from tooting around the chinese side. thats the only real "spec ops" application i can think of =p

my favorite use of the special forces kit in quads is the grappling hook. that can be really useful for going over walls when therse only like 2 entrances to a compound

Eh, the only thing I like to do with Spec-Ops is to get enemies to walk into my SLAMS...

There is always a sense of satisfaction in having lazed infantry CAS'ed (especially snipers). It's even funnier when their bodies going flying 100's of m into the air.

Spec Ops is a good kit, the best times I ever had with it was ambushing the roads from PLA main on OGT and militia main on mestia, or blowing the british bridge on fools :D

I'm so glad its not a omgwtfpwnzor kit, it's much more fun than that

remember if your special forces and laser designating for aircraft , using como rose isn't enough , type into chat where about the target is and then the plane should find his barings.

And the answer to the threads question is; in my opinion

To be used in a specialist spec ops squad to disrupt enemy movements by desroying assets.
OR
to be used as a spotter for a sniper.

It's actually very useful kit. You got explosives of course and SOFLAM but don't anyone use for the grappling hook? That's a killer in Muttrah for example.
