So I guess everyone atlest on Europe knows that there are anti-pirate forces sent to fight against the somalian pirates. I think it would be great to have a map and maybe a new skin to the ins(if not too big to do) and a nice map, I think this would be pretty nice map to play as I dont think any map has big ship/boat battles in PR. You would be pretty much forced to do boats for the pirates I guess but I know it would be nice addition to the normal only-on-land gameplay (of course the caches need to be on land).

The pirates are known to be heavily armed and they have also stolen some weaponry so I think it would fit PR with the INS mode perfectly.

I personally would love EU taskforce but they got brit forces in there so its not really necessary.

the only thing needed for this kind of thing imo is naval versions of helicopters and as you say, some new boats (the only aspect of PR that I believe has been neglected )

iirc, in the boat thread there is som1 making insurgent style boats, but there aren't any NATO/whatever boats being made afaik. Maybe in 1.0 eh?

pirates are pretty common, thou any military counters against them are either naval or SF (or a mix of both) and this is not something that PR is directly about since PR is more about large scale battles etc.

the CQB mod has a "pirate" kinda map based on some kind of cargo ship loaded with bombs set to go off

I loved the skin in Special Forces, why not use that again? The map could be a harbour down in Africa where the fighting could go on on docked container ships and so on. Or a ship to sea where the pirates has to board it only with their small crafts. Love those kind of maps where the whole team is forced to do something together, and the other team waiting for them.
