Improved Alternate use of Weapons and Tools

While daydreaming to improve Project Reality once more, I stumbled over a new possiblity. I don't think it has ever been discussed before. I also wanted to speak about it in a separate thread rather than adding it to my infamous Project Reality v0.8 Improvement Compilation thread. The idea itself is simple in nature but it's possibilities may be able to expand our existing game much furthur.
As we all know, pressing the Alternate fire (Default: Keypad 0 or Right Click) is a familiar tool. We use it everytime we "Zoom" in with a Pistol, Rifle, Grenade Launcher or Missle Launcher. It can be used to control the distance on throwing hand grenades. It can also be used to switch between C4 and the Remote Detonator.
Other than the previously mentioned uses, it doesn't have many additional functions. What I'm getting at here is to expand furthur and experiment upon this. Lets create a theoretical situation:

Rifleman (Ironsight or Optics) kit:
1. Knife
Main use: Stab. (Default)
Alternate use: Restrainer or Disarm Tripflares (Only One function.)
2. Shovel
Main use: Construct friendly emplacements. (Default)
Alternate use: Deconstruct enemy bunkers and sandbags.
3. Assault Rifle
Main use: Fire weapon. (Default)
Alternate use: Enter aimed weapon mode. (Default)
4. Ammo Bag
Main use: Throw on ground to resupply soldiers. (Default)
Alternate use: Throw on ground to resupply stationary weapon emplacements.
5. Fragmentation Grenade
Main use: Throw full force. (Default)
Alternate use: Throw by controlled force. (Default)
6. Smoke Grenade
Main use: Throw full force. (Default)
Alternate use: Throw by controlled force. (Default)
7. Binoculars
Main use: N/A (Default)
Alternate use: Equip and observe. (Default)
8. Field Dressing
Main use: Directly apply Field Dressing to self.
Alternate use: Throw Field Dressing full force to another soldier.

Main use: Deploy from prone position. (Default)
Alternate use: Deploy from prone position. Attaches a small red warning flag beside the mine for ease of identification. Can be seen by both friendlies and enemies.

Main use: Throw Grappling Hook full force. (Default)
Alternate use: Drop Grappling Hook infront of users feet. (Default)
