IMHO the .75 LAYOUT was better. Not vehicles, not Faction. But layout. I prefer the old 1 spawn at main which was flag instead of hiking for 10 minutes to realize the kit you wanted was taken. Also the spawn points at Estate and Processing gave both teams a huge tactical advantage.


So my suggestion is this
US ARMY PIGFARM Flag in base

Qwai River has always been one of my favorite maps, however this new layout isn't what I came to like qwai for. What is the point of having Mine/Temple if you cant spawn at it? That is why i suggest the old AAS Layout and Spawns.

Advantages are relative. It cannot give both an advantage, and if it gave an advantage it would almost certainly be strategic not tactical.

Also, if anything, it would probably confer a very minor advantage to PLA who take longer to deploy at the moment (lack US's fast transport capability).

Wrong, On point .75 as PLA you could spawn at Estate get a Comm truck zoom across the land bridge and mine the entrance long before and tow humvee/Littlebirds could get there.

US spawn PIG get hat fly to temple and Rain rockets down on their armor.

Wut? Do you mean the small helicopter or the big evil WZ-10? The small is ok but the big one NO!

This map nearly perfectly emphasizes the different strengths and weaknesses of the two faction's battle doctrines (as I understand them).
The Chinese use overwhelming brute force to overwhelm and crush enemies. This is portrayed by having heavy armor assets like tanks and armed APC's (the Stryker really doesn't count as armed in my book, more on the level of the Humvee or Nanjing than the SABOT spitting death machines that are the Chinese APCs) I think that the Chinese should have about 50-100 extra tickets than the US to account for the numerical superiority that they would most likely have. They get a JDAM to kick the defenders in the face then force their units into the point.

The US are highly mobile with two transport choppers and extra light vehicles like CO trucks and .50 Humvees. They outmaneuver and can get a TOW Humvee to get a critical hit in on a tank, the disappear just as fast. Technological and mechanical superiority are the order of the day. The US have artillery that can be used to lockdown an enemy position, or secure a friendly position in danger of loss.

This map is one of my favorites because it plays out differently each time for each side.

All I really was suggesting was put the AAS layout like it was in previous versions.

If it ain't broke, then don't fix it. This map wasn't broke. So why did they change it?
