Your not Going too like this Dev's but the gamers have Found a way To use the Acog Too complete multi prepose Functions. Kind making the Iron and Dot point redundant
Medium and long Range the Acog works wondrously It a dominating presence on the battle field. And also in shot range too . There are ways of making the Acog effective in all areas Soundly equalising the dot point‘s.
No scooping. Simply
Zoom out and No scope eliminating the need for dot point scope or cross hair sights, And if you’re really excentric you can just get a taxa or a pen and Draw a home made Cross hair on your Computer screen too assist in no scooping.
Could no scooping be considered an exploit I don't know.

Yeah, because crosshairs is exactly what the dev's want. TBH it's unfair, and I'd consider it an exploit.

hardcoded really, but iirc deviation etc is more than if they were using a reddot/ironsights, so they are still at a disadvantage imo.
its more complicated by how in 1st person view, the rifle is in the shoulder ready, but in 3rd person the rifle is at the hip. I've never really understood which stand PR is using

This. Have fun with your higher deviation than a red dot sight or iron sights
Sure its better than scoping in at insanely close range, but its not near as good as using the iron or red dot
As far as which position you're in most of the time I just think of it as "both" When you are not in a fight your guy has it "up and kind of ready, but maybe pointed down, at rest" then when sh*t hits the fan he shoulders it and is "half aiming down it, sort of kind of" and I just imagine the deviation when not sighted in being somewhere in between these two accuracies...
Yeah... thats just my line of thinking though

Painting crosshairs on the screen and similiar stuff is fail. Its ineffective and lame.

I don't need to paint **** on my monitor to guess the center.
Yeah, I used the world guess, but even if you do paint it there you won't hit any better than me thanks to the deviation.

No, no it is not. Sure, there are real sad sacks who are going to get tape or a marker and mark center of their screen, but for those of us who fire from the hip in close quarters, we're guessing where the center is, and in reality, you have a pretty good idea where your gun is pointed, no this is somewhat realistic, minus earlier said sad sacks.

If people wanna ruin their gaming experience with fake crosshairs and just focus on score let them.

Why do people think that when you install an acog on a rifle you must use the acog? you could always use the iron sight....
If only that were possible for bf2.

Good thing the new patch with physically come to your house and remove the marks from your screen...
I'm not really sure what this thread solves or helps to solve?

My marker was empty but that did not stop me. I punctured the center of my screen

geez....markers? wtf are you guys thinking?
If you want a crosshair or aim-dot just use a very small triangle of electrical tape....

Just a thing too be Aware of, no scoping is an Exploit that the issue, Any way your Right sort Of. the dot on the screen is not Very effective anymore due too the Deviation in the new patches. old patch that Trick Was Fantastic but no longer it out lived it usefull ness.
It currently more Effective too no Scope Some one then use a Iron sight or a Dot point For close in Fighting 25 maybe 50 too 75 meters. Does that not Strike you as slightly unrealistic.
Try it out you will see what im saying.
Iv got better thing too do Then Explain further go test this Stuff out. It stupid Too come back at me with out even Knowing what your talking about.

I think simply by showing the written code for weapons we could easily show yo that this is false... non sighted more accurate than sighted in out to 75 meters? You sure youre playing PR
Sure its sometimes better/easier to simply shoot from the hip at close range, but for anything more than a surprise around a corner I wouldnt dare shoot without sighting in... Ive played around enough to know that this doesnt work near as good as using the sights.

Blue tack ftw there mate
These days, if you play enough, you can accurately guess the centre anyway, not really a big deal.
And the devs are right (obviously

), MUCH higher deviation when unscoped.
And btw, iron sights come up way quicker, and don't zoom in, so they are great for mid range incursions.

I have theory that when shooting from hips, the gun doesnt make any damage. This si based on my experience.
