Here you can see our defenses overlooking the North Village. We had five .50 cals and destroyed everything going to the village. Some infantry would escape the fire then we would get in the jeeps, go down there, clear it out and go back up.



But then after a long quiet time we got attacked from the rear by a big convoy of 6 or 7 vodniks. We had no chance with only 3 jeeps, so we lost the position.

lol at the cool guy "they're really killing our guys"; while fuzzhead goes nuts.

This is why I dislike 16 Kashan on large servers. It turns into Humvee wars with one squad grabbing all the vehicles and everyone else getting raped six ways after walking for 10 minutes.

Well, at first we just saw 2 vodniks so it wasn't that bad, but then...

I had some pretty bad experiences on Kashan 16. A "transport" squad taking all of the team's Vodniks. Then, when my squad got wiped out at bunkers, we had to walk from a distant firebase, constantly battling roaming humvees with little effect due to AT shortages (which basically means we got wiped out several times). The Vodnik attack squad was off doing their own thing all the time, ignoring all the remaining "blue guys" on the team. Things got a little better when we managed to nab a Vodnik that just spawned at a firebase (had to beat the Vodnik Assault Force Squadron to it, they weren't too happy).

I feel a little better knowing that there's a crapload of heavily armed vehicles on my side, rather than some guy running his own private army of armored cars with the rest of the team getting constantly raped by the other team's army of armored cars.

we got close to topic situation at the europe multiclan match, that was great, espicially "join our vodnik brigade" lol

Well daranz, you had some bad experiences, but there's enough jeeps for everyone and there's also trucks and helicopters, so it's your fault you had to walk. About getting killed by them, that can happen on any layer. If it's not the private army of armored cars, it's a private army of armored tanks.

Nice defense and I wondered why the first 4 vods were gone so fast. Also this was just the start, a door gunner on a black Hawk tried to help out but got caught up in a crossfire between 3 Vods. It was a great round that had everything.
I was gunning in one of the vods of squad 4.
How did we end up losing all of them by the time we pushed through village o.O ?

There isn't enough jeeps for everyone if people get greedy and don't share, instead opting to use all the jeeps they can get their hands on as gunning platforms. On the other hand, tanks ARE weapons platforms.

But whatever, the video was entertaining enough and I'm not gonna ruin this thread with my bitching any more.

Build FB, 4 FB= +4 jeeps, with respawn every 10(?) minutes

If it is a consolation to you we lost the game because there werent our limited troop mobility as a result of the vod hogging didnt make it possible to effectively counter attack an assault on outpost, even after it was jdamed.
