was just thinking of how cool it would be to get a PR going for 2142 with all new maps and guns just like PR for BF2, this is only a suggestion and was just putting it out there ^^. if anyone else agrees just post how you feel about it below ^^

BF 2142 differs a lot from BF2 so I think if they want to do that they need to start all over again and I also think that PR players won't buy BF2142 so they will lose players

This.
Yes, there's upgrades and advances for the 2142 engine, but PR uses a LOT of BF2v assets that would need to be replaced. Plus, I doubt that many PR players have 2142, as keupink pointed out.

It doesn´t differ that much I think, but it does offer more possibilities. But as said, it would take alot of work to get new statics, textures, models etc as 2142 obviously isn´t quite the same theme.

Basically, it's so not worth it to have PR run on 2142. It's possible, but not worth it. The arguments of "weapons" and "maps" are invalid, as 2142 is... well... a bit futuristic, PR isn't (a few years in the future, tops).
BF2 and BF2142 are very similar, coding wise, but it isn't worth the hassle. BF2142 has less players than BF2, so that's one point. The other, it doesn't offer much more than BF2 does. Sure, there are certain things, but really, really worth it to port it all over? Nope.
This is a resuggestion, hence I'm: locking it in a tin can, with vanilla-flavoured sweetness inside and strawberries on top.
