1) i know in .8 there was add some new anumations and effects
like when u lend with choper it make some kind of dirt and smoke effect
i just was wondering can i be removed or replace with old one becouse it make lag to some people when u trying to take off and u got lag.

2)becouse of lot of dolpins that come from vanila ( run + prone tactick ) we can prevend that by make deploy type to every weapone like on Atomatick Rifle. in real life if u want to shoot from prone u must stop lie down and get ur position u cant just jump down and aim.
with this tactick u couldnt just go prone imidiatly and shoot

but i lag i got 7300gt i run it almost on high got 40 fps when choper lend it drop to 20 it sux and for me realy hard to lend

I average at 30 fps. Don't cry ok?

well its sux why i need to have fps drop becouse of this effect that half cool

Try turning down your settings? Anti-aliasing especially with smoke.

Or just buy a new PC. lol

High with a 7300? I'm running a 7600gs with 512mb of ram and I have to run it on low with effects and geometry on medium(can't do write combining because of artifacts )


1. I have no problems with the effects, although I'm running low.

2. If you add the deployed/undeployed mode to every weapon, battles would last forever, with people always on the defence because you'd have to put your weapon into deployed mode, which takes forever and you can't climb up ladders or get in vehicles. and doesn't deployed mode resemble putting your bipod down and resting your weapon on something?(don't know if that's right.)

And it's not that simple to just go out and buy another computer, it's $400 USD at the most if you want to get a junk one. Most of us that have crappy computers(atleast me) don't have room for upgrading anything, so if you want to upgrade one, you upgrade all.

1) all the previus version of game i run with FPS only this tech 1337 effect is bad for my sistem ( why should i lower it if u can just remove it )
2) deploy mod i mean no like on atomatick rifle when he check ammo and stuff no just to swith it will take 2 sec but will prevend dolphins and i know lot of people that not go prone just go crusch

Progress. You either deal with it and adapt, or you complain and get left behind. Sorry you have lag, but that's just the way things work. Gonna have to drop a few bucks on a new video card or try to turn your settings down some more.

Or just dont fly anymore. Get in to the chopper as an infantry grunt. Sure you can get killed exiting with 20fps but it will only last a second or 3 as the chopper takes of to safety

If you lower your settings the problem will most likely be solved. if the devs had to change the game for every problem we had then we would most likely be playing vanila BF2 again.

I play on the lowest settings and im still enjoying the game to the full.

If im not mistaken, a soldier actualy gets learned to drop to the ground one fired at right?

no they turn in the direction the shot came from and say "What was that?" then the Sarge yell's at them "Get the F*@k down!"
