well the russian and insurgent factions are getting the ak74 and i was wondering if the devs are goinng to make it fire controlably on full out and since its the one of the most controlable rifles to fire on full auto why not? (it could be like the ak-101) i like what you guys did to it to bad its not in the game anymore.

The AK74 uses the Russian equivalent of the 5.56x45mm NATO round (5.45x39mm), so it should be much easier to control on full auto. In fact, it should theoretically be easier to control than the AK101 because the bullet is actually smaller.
The AK101 is just like the AK74, only it is made for the 5.56 NATO round. It was made for export.
The AKS-74u, the weapon that seems to be for the insurgents, will be more difficult to control as it is a much smaller, lighter weapon.

This is coming from someone who's fired weapons on full auto, small round or not they're still pretty hard to control.
The round still has the same amount of powder behind it as the Ak47 the bullets just smaller. So it really shouldn't be different.

The reason that AK-74s are considered easy to control is only partially because of the new, small calibre ammo. The other major reason is because of the muzzle break used on the '74. This design incorporates 2 half moon cuts which directs the muzzle blast up and to the sides as well as having an expanson chamber, not unlike a suppressor, that allows the gasses to disapate more gently. In addition, the expansion chamber has a number of holes in it to prevent lateral shift while firing, a feature AK's are known for because the bolt assembly is slightly off centre.
As to actually how easy it is to control, that would probably be best left to somone who has actually fired the weapon, for example our man in Russia, [R-DEV]Nosferatu.

lol, really? i've also heard that it's really loud and is prone to give people hearing damage when firing it without hearing protection. like... more than other carbines.

Bob_Marley you knowledge on just about everything never ceases to amaze me.
I've never fired a ak74 fully auto. But I have fired a ak47 and M4 on full atuo and a M16 on burst. Compensator or not I don't think you should be able to engage targets much father than 25-50m accurately. But If there's someone who's fired both of the AK variants feel free to prove me wrong.

Probably why it's issued to crewman as a PDW.
