I love this! its super realistic and not just run and gun. Im a fan of tactical games and this is now one. I have only one problem, when i get into a helicopter it says i need the pilot kit. so i get out and get into another position. but then the helicopter wont take off :( i know this should be in the bug post sorry

yeeeh RTFM!!!

you need to press T to request it from the comma rose and you have to be in a squad to request one . . . . once again RTFM!

It's not a bug. You have to request the pilot kit using the T menu in order to fly helicopters or jets. If you want to drive a tank or APC, you also need a special crewman kit for them. Read the PR manual for more details, you really need to know how the kit request system works or you won't be going anywhere fast, whether in single- or multiplayer.

it IS a bug for SP. If you get in a chopper and get out, then another bot gets in, it cant take off... nor can you if you get in...

At least, thats what was posted in the SP Video thread...

Yea - rtff (Read the F&*#ng Forums)

And yep - great job!!

Those poor slobs that only play online really don't know what they're missing here.

A real jewel. Worthy of going retail IMHO. MUCH better ,far more immersive and of course more tactical than most of those $50 graphicical wonders out there.

Agreed. All these new SP videos really make me want to give it a try. It'd be a new and wondrous thing to almost always get the vehicle and kit you want :P Heheh. Also hear nothing but rave reviews on the new AI coding and such

^It's actually nothing short of amazing! The bots actually work together in a way I never thought possible for such a teamwork-needed game. Just need Kashan to Omgwtfbbqpwn those AI tanks though

Okita, when you return from Japan, you can have all the pr you'll need :)

yea i know. it's just a b**ch to navmesh properly.. we put loads of time into it, me and ballard were working on it for ages already with no pleasant result..

though i've still got some ideas left and i'm getting back to kashan very soon now that 0.8 is out of the door.. just need a few days without the darn editor now, lol.

Well I'm sorry that I didn't see this before. From what he said, I assumed that he was new to PR, hadn't read the manual, and tried to jump into a helo as a rifleman like you can in BF2.

Well, whenever you do release it, I've got my hopes up, after seeing the quality of your work, I expect nothing short of awesome.

Got my teeth into SP last night and I think I speak for everyone when I say that the quality of this release is second to none. Absolutely outstanding achievement implementing all of the features that are now present. I can't imagine the man hours that went into this. Thank you very much!

Given the relatively small size of the SP pack coupled with the sheer quality of the gameplay now on offer I think it's about time it's bundled with the MP release....... .85 perhaps? Here's hoping.

that ain't gonna happen some time soon. however i think we're at a point where the 'botification' of future versions won't take that long anymore. hopefully... :p

We would very much like it to be included with the latest versions of MP but the problem we have is that we have to change a lot of stuff in SP to make it compatible with the MP files and this takes a LOT of time, also a lot of things are changed in MP at the last minute and might make it incompatible with SP so we have to wait until the final release of MP before we can do a lot of these changes.

Another thing is that the maps take a lot of preparation and time to work with SP and once again some of the changes that are made to these maps at the later stages might make all that work we have done useless and we have to start all over again.

Believe me if we could we would
