Long list of suggestions + constructive critism

Alright, in my household, we have upgraded our internet connection to over half of the bandwidth we had before. Sadly enough, thanks to the BF2 engine, that is barely enough to be able to play the game. At any rate, I had my first real sitdown (one that wasn't full of insane online lag) with PR 0.8.
My impressions of the mod still leaves it as my favorite mod for BF2, but the mod is too bitter sweet. In some areas where it really excels, it craps out in many others. I really, really love the pace of the game. You have it done it perfectly, you are not forced into battle like in many FPS games, and you can even take a time out to build up outposts and bases. You and your squad can play the game the way you want. Kudos on the overall game, its gotten quite good.
I know I am not a regular here, so I may just come off as an ***, but at any rat, in hopes that you will still be changing stuff in the future:
- I'm not sure about anybody else, but it feels like I am wearing lead boots in PR. I sit on my *** all day for most of the year, but I am quite capable of running (or sprinting, in this case) a lot farther and faster than I can in PR, even with heavy equipment. I feel so weighed down, and I never have the ability to sprint when I need it, for instance when I am trying to get the fuck out of the way of an enemy machinegun. perhaps in the future, have a system similar to ArmA, where as you get more and more tired, your sprint slows down gradually, as well as your character getting tired (aim becomes less steady) rather than having the arcadey "stamina bar."
- The suppression is ludicrous. One bullet goes by you and you are blinder than a drunken **** Cheney with a shotgun. Perhaps tone it down, or simply modify the effect, so you get a blur, rather than psychedelic tunnel vision.
- I have been pitching this for a while, perhaps manually fix the severe lag issues that Dice/EA introduced to the game. Back when BF2 was in it's first version, the online play was reliably smooth, but once it hit 1.21 (or whatever it was) I started getting insane lag, along with many other people, no doubt thanks to the fucking geniuses at Dice and EA's QA. I assume that their idiotic errors will not be fixed by them, if you guys could fix this somehow, the game would be much more enjoyable and way less frustrating. If you are wondering about the kind of lag I am speaking of; I was playing last night, and was an MEC marksman on a hotel roof, an APC opened fire on us, so I stood up to sprint back, I turned towards the center of the building, then one of these mini spikes hit me, my character did a full 360 (no, I did not do it by accident) and I fell off the edge. That's how bad it is, it even happens when I have a ping of 60-90.
- Do you think more ammo to the RPG7 gunners would hurt? A standard PG7VR warhead only weighs about 2 - 2.5 KG. I doubt weight is a limitation here, and 1 warhead doesn't do much in the way of balance, maybe 2-3 would be a more suitable and realistic number.
- The recoil on the LMG's is rediculous. I realize this must have been done for balance reasons, but it is ultimately unacceptable. The gun is totally and completely useless when undeployed. Having never fired a machinegun, I will just use other references: YouTube - M60 Machine Gun
As you can see, the weight of the gun takes a lot of the recoil. Maybe to keep a bit of the balance, don't make it so it has no recoil, but it feels like the MG's are origami, and the shots just throw them around.
I don't mean this in a really demanding way, but it would simply make the game much more enjoyable, and fix all of the irritating, and often "unrealsitic" aspects. It would be nice to have a smoother, more enjoyable experience.
