In the Meymaneh thread it was a discussion if we should make a map like this.
Well snow and ice and russians is a good combo, so I think it would be awesome. We also have begun on a norway v insurgents map, but we could need a norway vs convential army map to. Ofcource we could go aganst MEC and dont have to worry about the reskin of troops and vehicle but maybe norway fighting MEC would be unrealistic.

Please discuss

arnt the russians going on team with allies ?? if so can they play norway ?

I dont know gazz, but I havent heard anything about it. It was just a big discussion in the meymaneh thread and halvor said we could make a thread for discussing this

Ahhh I have tried finding some good spots for a map, but I have never been up at the border so its hard to find something good. I May get up at GSV in the fall atleast thats what the recruitment officer said with a steady inteligence test I would easily get up there

BUt anyone saw the documentary about the russians standing with a full attacking force on the russian side of the border. I dont remember the real numbers, but it went on TV and is on NRK's nett tv under brennpunkt.

One reason: why does russia need norway?

no special natural resource, exept offshore oil, no real "Norwegian fighting
few ppl, as in fe caucasians(slavic ppl)(rascist USSR point of view)
russia only has 50 mill dollar budget for the defence ministry,so why waste them?(us has 500)
why attack a country with 50000 home guardsmen, only to conquer a VERY patriotic coutry which prolly just are gonna make further future problems, and rather expenses than profit.

Its just a game, why do you care about the political interest? Besides the germans really wanted norway in WW2. The russians could have almost the same interests

Icefree coast all the year, closer to USA, UK etc, to give us/you/them a reason to make a map like this ( )
