A team of brazilian programers can desenvolve a brazilan army and others factions in this region.I can search details, but the people of brazil want see your country in the best FPS of net for the 1ªtime in history.
It's will cool because the amozon region very similing with Vietnam, and Brazil have a news weapons and veihcles for game, and we can join the FARC'S(colombian traficants)Venezuela,Colombia,Paraguay(Have a recently problems with Brazil).
This a great oportunity to brazilian players.

I'd love to see the Tropa de Elite up against the drug dealers of the favellas (sp?). Though you'd need to get a fair few new statics made I expect :/

if the devs choose to, they will. but really its up to the community if the community wishes. I'd say get some modelers, mappers, modders together on this project.

just remember, it takes a long time to get a faction in PR to work, and high standards are required to get your faction in the game.

I will try find programers, but is hard and the brazilian trafincants live in yhe Rio of Janeiro.
If i can regroup a programers i try make a maps and factions very, very relistics, right the original armys.
And how its dificult the creators of PR would help us to make it.

Brazilian forces fighting drug guierrilla, not a bad idea... It could be just like insurgency mode but you swap weapon caches with cocaine cahces

This project started some time ago, and we have some models partially done (such as our MBT and our sniper I believe). But don't know much about this project, it's been long ago since I last checked on it and I'm not a part the team.

Yes, and when you get close to the cocaine cache, you automatically get stoned by the smell of cocaine and every player would automatically turn into big bird.

But seriously now, it could be an option, except it would require a lot of work. (since you need to add 2 factions)

Insurgents as placeholder?

I think Militia would be a better option. Since they're more heavily armed. But that's just my 2 cents.

I reckon that could work for a lot of aspects. Uniforms, some weapons and voice acting would probably need to be different for Colombians and Brazilians (not too much of a problem though).

Actually the voices are very different..

I'm brazilian, but I dont support this idea.
