Which side is Russia going to be on? NATO+Allies, or China/MEC alliance?

Somewhere between them I guess.

Mabey Russia will fight both, depends on the available maps i suppose.

if today's politics are any indication then russia should be on china's side. they are allies and have regular joint military exercises each year (which seriously fucks with my flight schedules when huge tracts of chinese airspace become closed off)

and i seriously do not see russia and nato on the same side after georgia and the whole missile defence fiasco

Just from checking the section on the Russian Forces, they have maps in the works against the militia, china, and germany. Should ask one of the Russia forces Devs.

Russia Vs. China sounds a bit daft these days.

Russia is Russia - it should be 'neutral' for mapping purposes.

All factions should be neutral for mapping purposes, but there's some foolish taboo about NATO vs. NATO maps - so it goes.

However, the very fact the Chinese are fighting the US is absurd in the first place. They make how much money off of us? Them going into a full scale attack is against the US is fiction. You guys are forgetting that most of this is just fake imaginative battles. There is no MEC, for instance. Mappers can make however fight however, if they can somehow make a story line for it. The only "reality" is the Insurgency and Militia maps.

Russia is going to have a hard time out there. Fighting both sides plus the irregular factions.
