Its unbelievable but the PR team has put m95s somewhere on Al Basrah. Just thought i would let you know.

can anyone confirm this? i remember the m95s in .5 but they got taken out {and rightly so} because of 1337 morons. please tell me this isnt true.

Anyways, isn't there a gentleman's "hush" rule on easter eggs, particularly pickup kits (a la Bi Ming)?

Forum policy on this is, has always been and will continue to be that the locations of such easter eggs are not to be revealed.

No pics, no videos, no directions, etc. Failure to comply will result in warning points and persistent abuse will result in people being banned.

Probably the lamest rule on the forums - it just means that people who know devs find out through unofficial channels, or people who have the leet mapping skills to unpack the map find it out.

I found the anti infantry laser on Bi Ming through painful trial and error based on where I'd known people to first use it from. That was a nasty one to find for other reasons too.

Easter eggs should be shared by showing a few people at a time, in game, when it is relevant, always in the squad level. Example: Back before .756, if you want to do a sniper/scout squad, then the experienced person gets a spec ops kit and shows the new guy where the .50 is.

If there are said weapons at the said location on the said map, they should be shown to a few buddies when you plan on doing some reconnaissance on like the Hotel or something. Although M95s on Al Basrah seem useless to be honest.

lol! Anti Infantry laser? What does it do? Just lase infantry targets for the jets?

I dont mind that those eggs should remain a secret. Makes it fun. Im not gonna find any of them though as Im usually in the infantry.

It's a figure of speech. Tanks used to have anti-infantry lasers, now they seem to have something with about the killing power of a super-soaker mounted coaxially.

I keep having flashbacks to FH2.

There's two on Bi Ming but I don't think I've tried in the new patch, plus my PC is broken so I can't look. Can anyone confirm they're still there?

Are you sure it was Al Bashra?

I just did a quick search through the files and found nothing

I can imagine he's talking about the 'custom map' Al Basrah v2.

No idea what they've put on there.

Probably it's server side modification... I can't find it in my Al Basrah V2 files either

As Eddie said no matter how tacticool you play PR, you will teamkill for the M95

I think its on PRSP's Basrah.. remember seeing a pic of it on the hotel roof or something or other... was probably edited... or just added for SP fun...

Ramiels lame easter eggs are commonly talked about but not revealed in their own thread. I dont want people just giving their locations away though...

No, i didn't add easter eggs to Al Basrah V2.
