Empty vehicle tickets?

Often you'll hear people say to leave an empty enemy vehicle in the field, to prevent it from spawning at their base. Which is a good plan for AAS mode, but in insurgency every ticket you can get can mean the game sometimes. Not to mention the times when the enemy comes back and jumps in that empty vehicle and guns everyone down.
Anyway, my question is how many tickets do we get for destroying a vehicle that's empty as opposed to one that's fully crewed? Is it worth my time to plant an IED and wait for some poor sucker to jump back in?

Heh that happened to me the other day, with an abandoned (and smoking) Scimi on Basrah. Most, including myself, thought it'd be best to leave it in the middle of the main road. 10 minutes later, I'm runnig across the central crossroads, and some cheeky git, has decided to jump in the turret and proceeds to gun me down.
From now on I'll be strongly reconsidering the tactic, of leaving abandoned armor alone. The only problem with waiting with an IED, is that you need a lot of patience, which most people just don't have. Added to that, there's always a chance you'll get offed before anyone tries to recover it anyway.

How would the system determine if the vehicle was misused? How would the system know the player's thoughts about why the vehicle is there? Perhaps it was used as a taxi, yes, but perhaps the idea is do some scout mission, then afterwards head back to the vehicle.
There's just no way.. So I'd say the current system stays. You can't change the players..

AFAIK it's the same
...but if we think about it logically the cost in tickets of crewed vehicle is higher because of the crew (vehicle cost + tickets for the crew)

-I always blow up abandoned vehicles on INS because that only means more chances of ambushing a supply truck full of soldiers. Like lambs to the slaughter...

This is what you do with captured vehicles. For instance, in this case, we got the challenger 2 tank from the brits. We asked the Brits for a special kit, the H-AT, in exchange for the vehicle back. They did give us the H-AT and we destroyed the tank with some IEDs so it would respawn at their main base. So, if you can, see if the other side is willing to strike a deal for the safe return of one of their vehicles, be it on insurgency or not.

the ticket costs for vehicles are being changed for 0.85 iirc, e.g. 5 tickets = jeep, on top of those killed inside.

british kits ??
10 tickets for a tank can be good on INS , but if you send it back and a better crew get it in and assist in the destruction of half your caches thoughts 10 tickets might not be so good. leave it i say, but something like a tank or apc ... ied it and w8 for crew to come back.

If the team loses a vehicle it also loses tickets:
○ Jeep or truck: 2 tickets
○ Transport helicopter: 5 tickets
○ APC or recon: 5 tickets
○ Tank or IFV: 10 tickets
○ Jet or attack helicopter: 10 tickets
What's classed as a IFV
What is classed as Recon
What the cost of AAV

IFV = Warrior
APC = Stryker
Recon = ??? (littlebird?)
AAVs don't exist on INS maps

Yeah, I couldn't find a complete vehicle classification chart or something.
I am especially interested in the BRDM, since it sort of replaces the Vodnik and is in no way comparable to an APC, it should only be worth 2 tickets, no?

IIRC the BRDM2 is in the Recon class like the Scimitar? 5 Tikets are ok the gunner is small arms protected and has singel zoom.
Me think AAV is in the Tank class
"Jet or attack helicopter: 10 tickets" i would prefere 15 or 20 Tikets
