I am coming back to PR I had to leave the gaming world.

I had to quit do to Left Arm surgery where I was not able to use a computer.

many of you would know me from Battle Arena Server.

I would like to know if i should download 0.8 or wait for 0.85.

I do not want to know when 0.85 will come out ("Is Done When its Done") I understand but should i download 0.8 /or do most of you think 0.85 will be out by 22nd of Jan 2009.

I don't want to download it play it for a few weeks and download 0.85 your thoughts are welcome.

0.85 is a patch and will co-exist with 0.8 so go ahead and dl 0.8 now and later get the patch.

Well according to what bosco have said, I suggest you hold a bit and wait for 0.85. With all those topics in DEV Journals its pretty obvious that new release (patch) will be up in couple of weeks.

Of course it's a full release. So many changes and things added (Taliban, Russians, Militia turned to Chechnya (?), maaaaaaany other changes, etc). Patching the current 0.8 would be far too complicated, when you can just "output" a new release .

*Sighs* Took me two days of failed downloads for the last one.
