OK,so I went and DL'd this mod.....ive played BF2 and 2142 and for that matter all the BF games and have a pretty good idea as to how to play and such but this mod threw me for a loop haha. It says I need a Vehicle kit to drive tanks and pilot kits to fly...but where do u get the kit? Ive looked briefly at the kits in the WIki thing that comes w/ the DL of the mod but it only tells me what the kit has in it. I know this is a Online only mod so my only guess is that you have to have more then 1 person to use tanks and such?

First you have to join a squad then hit T and request the kit.

I highly suggest reading the manual.

Create or join a squad and press T, you need to be near bunker/rallypoint/vehicle to request a kit. Not all kits can be asked from same source. You can't ask Anti tank from a rally point for example.

project reality is all based on teamwork, i KNOW there is no way a single person can win a game by themselves.

How do I get it to where i can see on the online servers? All ive done so far is DL'd 0.8 Core and Lvl Files...whatelse I gotta do to get to playin online? I do believe it also said I need Bf2 1.41 which i think ive got b/c I was on some BF2 regular game servers not long ago

-To request kits you need to be in a squad, at least 3 members in the squad for most kits to be accessible, pilot and crewman kits only require one person in the squad, sniper and spec ops kits require 2 members. They are requested by opening the "T"(Default) Comm Rose, clicking the center button(Request Kit) and selecting the appropriate kit from the list.

-A piece of advise though; don't just pick up a kit just to have a kit, the basic kits are better all round kits(This does not apply to pilot/crewman kits of course as they are required to operate some vehicles). If you are in an infantry squad then stay with basic kits unless the SL tells you otherwise, there's nothing more annoying than people who pick up kits at their own leisure just to get killed while trying to be "1337" with their kit and denying access to that kit to someone else who actually needs it.

-If you are considering using vehicles then I suggest you set up a local training server or join an online training server to familiarize yourself with them, especially choppers/jets as their handling is very different from vBF2(A 30 second warm up period, for instance).

Get on a TS server with PR players, ask them... NAG THEM! And they will help you... here is a Teamspeak server which you can nag:

Without the knowledge of the manual, you will get yourself kicked and banned from servers for doing stupid things from vanilla battlefield 2.
