Yesterday I was playing as a british sniper and noticed that the L115 model wasn't as leet as the real .338 beast, so I decided to model another one.

When I finish, I'd be glad if someone could UV/texture it.

Which one is being used by british troops?

L115A1

yeah, a few of the l115a3 rifles were given to teh 16th AAB but I dunno how many are in the whole army

The first batch of SSIP systems was deployed to Afghanistan with members of 16 Air Assault Brigade in May this year with subsequent deliveries being made to training units across the UK.

But this is the near future, and these will be given to more troops.

The Royal Army site says that they use L115A3

Also, there already is a L115A1, although it might not be a great model, it's there, so if you make a A3, which is coming, more useful IMO.

very nice, this and the british m4 needs a good remodel, those things are ugly.

One thing exec, is that I request you model in bullets in the magazine. Save us the trouble of texturing them in later

Well if it not to much troubles, think you could make the L115A1 too Its the same as the German sniper G22

OK! The A3 and A1 are pretty much the same from what I saw. The only differences I've noticed were the cheek pad, bipod and foldable stock.

Thanks, well if it make things more easier for you, if you do the suppressor, just take that off and its the same as the g22, I had a mistake and its the same in the end my bad

Yer they use the L115A3 in the Afgahn and Iraq, its a pretty common weapon in the arsenal actually, although you don't see much in the news. But when you see documentaries you usually se them quite often with a squad.
