Commo-Rose message ideas

BTW, try to suggest things that should be said in the heat of the battle, when using Voice may be to slow, or as a gift for that occasional player without VoIP.

Taking damage!/Recieving Lock on! Put these together instead of Affirmative

"Back up"/"Advance" for vehicles instead of "Fall back"

Stop the Vehicle!/Bail Out! Put them together

Need Medic/Hit! Hit!
Under Fire!/Get your heads down! Instead of Affirmative, PG up/Down can be used

Hold your fire!/Halt, stop moving! Instead of Negative.

Need covering fire!/ I'm pinned!

Record them all in high quality for all factions, then they might go in game, that's a big problem for most things Commo Rose related.

Welcome to the forums and community. I think that's a lot of to do when most of the community has voip.

Taking damage!/Recieving Lock on! Put these together instead of Affirmative

-Not really helpful if you cant communicate from where the fire is coming from. Would be just as effective to type incoming and a degree.

"Back up"/"Advance" for vehicles instead of "Fall back"

-Like this one.

Stop the Vehicle!/Bail Out! Put them together

-Most players already get that bail out from anyone but the drive means I want to get off please.

Need Medic/Hit! Hit!
Under Fire!/Get your heads down! Instead of Affirmative, PG up/Down can be used

-The affirmative/negative are very useful for a voip SL leading a squad without voip and I dont think they should be replaced. The current Medic button already fills the role you're suggesting.

Hold your fire!/Halt, stop moving! Instead of Negative.

=Unless your firing on your own guys I don't see much need for a hold your fire command. That's only need for squad that are really working together and I've never seen your average pubbie squad get to that level.

Need covering fire!/ I'm pinned!

-Might be useful.

Not trying to rag on you just my opinion.

If affirmative and negative were replaced, it'd be worse.
This change may also make the commo rose too complicated.

There is no reason why somebody cannot have VOIP. All computers now a day will have an input for microphone, it's been that way for some amount of years. And they cost hardly anything.
And if something is wrong with output (you'll put sound into the mic but nobody can hear through it) then go onto technical issues forum. It helps squad leaders and commanders.

I can't think of anything else that stops you from using a mic.

You should be able to say reloading when using a .50 cal.

I second that. Other modifications to the commo rose would just make it too hard to use. I can imagine a firefight where someone tries to navigate his commo rose just to say something like "Hit! Hit!" and get killed because of it.

personally most of the ingame sounds are ueseless as voip solves the problem. Only thing I find useful is request medic, ammo, and repairs. Plus it gives away position if the enemy is nearby.

+1 to stop the vehicle and reloading on 50cal others aren't usefull and will take time to navigate in the commands, anyway only medic/repair/ammo/pickup and bail out are usefull, and bail out to say the driver to stop... maybe also the retreat one...
just my opinion.

I'd like "FRIENDLY FIRE!!" to be on the commo rose somewhere. Would be useful, and easier than typing it out while under friendly fire. Some additions to the medic bag commo rose would be useful as well, namely "fall back," or "follow me!"
