[Help!] Map is rotated in-game

I've just started my first attempt at making a map for PR, so excuse me if I sound like a complete noob now.
I started out with grabbing an area from Google Earth, made it into a 4096x4096 image, used Tsplit to convert it into the proper colormaps and put that on my 1024x4 map. It worked fine, except the image was flipped vertically in the editor, so I flipped my big image, repeated the Tsplit-process and everything looked perfect. Then I started shaping the basic terrain, and when that was done I loaded it up in the game to test it.
Now, here's my problem. The map seems to have been rotated 180 degrees so that what should be north is now south, and west is east. The terrain, the colormap and game objects. Everything is wrong.
Does this mean I have to keep everything mirrored while I work in the editor, to get it right in the game, or is there some setting to determine which way should be north?
I really can't figure it out, and I hope someone can help me 'cause I really don't want to have to reshape all the terrain...
