Decrease Scope-in time with ACOG

In my opinion, i think the time that it takes to zoom in with the ACOG is way longer than it needs to be. This causes people to just blindly hip fire in CQB. Anyone else agree/disagree?

Taken care of in the next release (which will be in the future).

nonscoping IS effective

it may be effective, but thats only because we've learned how to guess the center of our screens.

i.e. because of a game issue

yeah, but come on. At least half the squad will carry acogs on blufor, no matter what you will have to be close in at some point. Especially on korengal where you get ambushed/have to check houses etc. Its inevitable.

I'd LOVE a deployed mode type thing were when you sightin with the rifle you look to the side of the acog rather than through it for CQB, but that would be messed up by the deploy animations of the weapon. damn bf2 engine again.

Well if i remember correctly. Many ACOG scopes incorporate a set of iron sights on top or beneath the lense housing for close engagements.

This would be fantastic: CQB mode. I am not that great with hip firing. Does anyone have any pointers? :!:

its all about knowing where the center of ur screen is. It just develops over time, unless you are a real bugger who puts blu tac on their screen's center or whatever.

Yeh, but remember in the case of the rifleman, there is always the ironsight/Red dot kit, which (in the case of the US REd Dot M4) is pretty good in CQB.
