What I think would be nice to have is every vehicle have the same speed when you press W so that you can easily form convoys and you can just hold down W. Then, for a vehicle to go its top speed, you can just press shift, for example if it has to catch up with the convoy or something.

i like it. i remember Joint Ops had a simplified gear system.

Gears would work this nicely too.

agian the whole vehicle system need to change. So many ideas - nned to be implemented at once to create a truely real vehicle experience.

I think it would be a good idea to have a working speedonmerter to make this idea to work or else to have an automatic convoy speed that everyone presses a certain command and they follow at the exact same speed.

you would use shift to get into sync

i would like a gear system as well, or at least 'push shift to go 20 mph' or something liek that.

The aircraft already use variable throttles, I'm not sure if it could be done but it would be best.

Any one who wants some ammo, tipped with EA lazyness:
compare the BF2 cockpits with the up and comming ETQW one, there is just a tiny tiny tiny wincy difference! IT is F-ing huge!

the gears is a great idea but i dont like the one button to follow vehicle command.....take realism away
