Is the tank bounce ever going to be fixed?

Is it just me, or has the bouncing tank bug been around since before .5? You know, the one when your tank gets tracked, and then bounces like a jacked up lowrider. Realistically, tanks shouldn't do this. Is it going to be fixed?
