This is more helpful for new squad leaders.

- Check your map before dropping the supply crates from the cargo truck and ensure you have members of your squad with shovels.

- Fire Bases (FB) can NOT be closer than 400 meter from each other

- Items 3, 4, 5, # can be up to 200 meters away from the FB. Upon initial placement of the FB, place the move marker on the site and use that as a guide as to how far you can emplace them. Don't forget the roof for the Anti-Air.

- For PR version v0.8, a gun truck will spawn in at the fire base after 10 minutes

Nice guide for beginners, and some good suggestions, too. I would also perhaps add that whenever possible, make it so that there is only one entrance into the firbase, so that you have more control over it. setting it near a cliff thus allows you to focus your assets so that you can easily defend if needed. You want to be able to concentrate your fire (HMGs and other) and defenses (sandbags and wire) onto one side if there is natural defense on the others, similarly to a castle built on the side of a mountain.
