if we get our own engine(hopefully ) will us users have to pay then for project reality? or can we have a system where old users get a code sent in a PM and new users have to buy?

I know the Devs are not going to make their own engine. Please clarify where your getting your information. I for one am confused.

he is talking about the mod db prize, there is already a thread about plans for the engian, and ideas, and a private thread only mods can see discussing it. it will mostlikley (in my un-proffesonal oppinon) stay free, becuase the engian will be given to the mod for free.
most other stuff about the engian is probly in the public thread

ye and if we get this engine its like going to take us 2 days to make a game on it and release it

If we do win, would it be really hard to port all the assets in the game? Would the coding be the hard part?

The assets will probably be mostly copy paste'able since its 3dmax models. How the engine interprets the models is a different thing. Not to mention code and program all the current features from scratch!

but the bf2 stuff has to be compleatly remade, like the cobra and such, becuase its an original from bf2.... or atleast i think it dose

First of all, its not we its them.
Secondly, its if PR gets a 1st place.

Then the fastropes enters the scene...and a new era begins..

Even if they do get a new engine, you have to realize it took years to get to this point. It will take many many months before a working bug full copy under the new engine will be released. Even then most of you wont fully be happy.
