Those vehicles are in the Quinling training map. As they are British vehicles, and Kashan is the US Army and MEC. It would be a little pointless to train with the Merlin on Kashan, as you would never fly it on that map in real games.

There's no Cobra on Kashan 32 either but it's in the training map, the point of Kashan training is not to train for that map, but to learn to use the vehicle, Kashan is large and has both flat and mountainous terrain with a long view distance, perfect for training the basics of the aircraft.

I want more maps for traing, im tired of kashan, what happened to all the other assests on the kashan, used to be every weapon, vehicle, and u could dogfight. Maybe PR should just make a map and designate it for training.

I simply offered him a solution that would have him training in his Merlin now, instead of waiting for the devs to add it kashan.

And it may be a good map for the basics. But not much more then basic take off and landing of a transport chopper, can be trained on Kashan. It's a wide open desert, very big, a lot flat and open spaces. Easiest map to fly on. Quinling on the other hand has some great spots to learn landing in tight spaces, or using trees as cover. And some great steep mountains, a nice river to fly low down.

Whenever i want to just mess around flying by myself i goto Quinling. Sure Kashan can be semi fun in training mode, but without lots of action and stupidness happening around you, it's a big boring pile of sand.

I've suggested this:
Snazz wrote:I'm guessing I should make my suggestion in this thread instead of making a new one.

I would like to see ALL PR assets from every faction on Kashan Training.

For example:
- Add British and PLA ground assets in their desert camo
- Add insurgent/taliban/militia vehicles
- Add the rest of the air assets, such as the J-10 and Lynx

I generally don't like Qinling (although I respect it is unique for PR in more then one way) so I'd much rather be able to access all the PLA and British assets on Kashan.

As Per Snaz:

Resuggestion,

Please use the Search Function and *** List before posting suggestions. (But by god you used the search function to find a ressuggestion, that's twisted :D )

Tirak, I wasn't claiming this was a resuggestion. I was just adding what i'd posted in a similar topic as I thought it was relevant.

His suggestion is to add an asset to Kashan training. Your suggestion is to have a map with all assets. Your suggestion includes his, making it a resuggestion.

Tirak, I see your point and if the circumstances were as you've perceived them I would agree.

However: I did not make my own thread and my post was an addition to another person's feedback topic, which I made after this thread was created.

So I am the one who could be accused of resuggesting, however I did not make my own thread and the Merlin suggestion isn't exactly the same as mine despite the relevance.

EDIT: Maybe I should just make my own thread, at least it would have a more specific name that's not in caps...
