Now back on topic, what Spec_Operator said is the best way to practice shooting. Though I do recall someone saying they were going to make a map like this. Never heard what happened to it...I guess it was scrapped.

Ramiel has a shooting range, but it's only 50m...

There was a downloadable training map for 0.5 once, having fifty cals on it. There were also some nice targets there. Maybe somebody could make it work in 0.8/.85

Op Archer has a target but its hard to get there to check your MPI!!!

Wow! That is exactly what I would want for a large scale training regiment.

That's a great idea, I know that PR SP is great to pratice your skills since it is the closest you can get to an online match without being online, but, having a map wich is made specifically to resemble an army boot camp, with the shooting range ( up to 1km), obstacle course, vehicle driving, etc etc ( you get the idea) would make the PR experience even more realistic, clan members could have weekly trainings on that map like a real army would do, another idea was to use that for contests, like sniper contest who can shoot farther without misses, or something like the Winter Triatlo where you could have driving, shooting and flying stages with different objectives. ^^

I would really apreciate a map like that one, would make one if I had the "know how" =/.

Rameil has a shooting range at the US base. do your own training and shoot at the range. you can find it to the left of the base.

If someone is willing to make a realistic training map, we would be willing to stick it in the mod in a future release

It seems that is the main problem, I've heard about that kind of maps that dont "come out of the paper" because there is no people to work on it...

As I said earlier, if I had the skills to do that I would help someone in the making...

Why not just shoot at a tree from varying ranges?
